The Oral Roberts University School of Liberal Arts invites applications for a full-time faculty position in French Beginning in August 2025.
Our department is looking for a dynamic individual to promote our French language program, including study abroad opportunities in the Francophone world. The candidate duties include but are not limited to teaching elementary through advanced levels of French, including French Phonetics, Composition, and civilization and culture courses, as well as academic advising. Additional responsibilities may include overseeing our Cultural Center where students receive language tutoring.
Besides teaching assigned courses, full-time faculty members are expected to:
Candidates must have native or near native fluency in French. While a master's degree in French is preferred, candidates with a master's degree and at least 18 graduate hours of coursework in French may be considered. Candidates must be able to demonstrate effective teaching and leadership skills. Knowledge of educational technology and openness to expanding these skills are a must.
