OVERVIEW
Location: Tulsa, OK
In support of ORU’s aggressive growth goals, ORU Online is seeking a dynamic and experienced
recruiter to join our team, focusing on recruiting students for our online undergraduate and
graduate programs. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a strong
network of connections, and the ability to represent ORU at events, conferences, and with partners
globally.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract prospective students for online undergraduate and graduate programs, emphasizing events, conferences, and partnerships associated with Oral Roberts University.
- Represent ORU at various events, including college fairs, conferences, alumni gatherings, and networking events, to promote our online programs and engage with potential students.
- Establish and maintain relationships with educational partners, corporate entities, agencies, alumni networks, and organizations worldwide to expand recruitment opportunities.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns targeted towards prospective students attending events, conferences, and through partnership channels.
- Utilize various recruitment channels, including social media, email campaigns, and online advertising, to reach potential students attending events and through partnership channels.
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in recruitment, preferably in higher education or online.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with
diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with partners and stakeholders.
- Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to speak confidently in front of large groups.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with recruitment analytics and data-driven decision-making.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
- Knowledge of online education trends and best practices is a plus.
- Passion for education and a commitment to promoting ORU’s mission and values.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Position requires frequent travel, up to 50% of working time, which includes locally, and various domestic and international locations. Means of travel may vary. This will include one’s personal vehicle, a university leased vehicle, or travel by air. Must have a valid driver’s license. Travel will require occasional to frequent overnight stays in other cities.
