JOB DESCRIPTION
- ADJUNCT
Oral Roberts University invites applications for part-time adjunct faculty positions to teach online courses in the ORU Advantage Program for high school students.
DUTIES
- Teach curriculum from ORU's Advantage online offerings
- Assist students in achieving course objectives and learning outcomes
- Provide consistent and quality feedback to students
- Engage students in the learning process
- Maintain an accurate and current grade book
- Communicate with students regularly through news announcements, posts and follow-up.
- Provide support and encouragement to students who are under-performing in their coursework

REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience Requirements
- Hold a Master's degree in the teaching field
- Experience in teaching high school students
- Ability to teach online
- Experience in online teaching is beneficial
- Working knowledge of Desire to Learn (D2L) or other online learning platforms is desirable
Minimum Criteria
- Eighteen graduate hours of academic credit in the teaching area
- Experience teaching in P-12 schools
