JOB DESCRIPTION
- FULL TIME

Location: Tulsa, OK

Perform routine transactions to include deposits, account payments by check, cash, or credit card, check disbursement, and check cashing in a courteous, accurate, and efficient manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Apply payments to students' accounts and answer questions as necessary. Review accounts for registration steps and complete registration.
• Answer incoming calls & handle phone messages on main line.
• Handle routine questions regarding Student Accounts in person or by phone.
• Assist with written communication by email.
• Logs out all certified mail and logs in return receipt cards.
• Balance daily receipts, payouts, and cash drawer activity daily. Prepare paperwork for each day’s activity and submit to Lead Teller.
• Distribute student paychecks & refund checks.
• Assist Lead Teller with preparation of deposits and reports for Accounting.
• Review Check Box weekly and contact students by email and/or phone to pick up checks

REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:

High School diploma or GED required. Prefer some college coursework in business, math, or accounting.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Requires six months cash handling experience, bank teller or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to handle pressure well and make decisions independently.
• Good math, communication/verbal, spelling, grammar, and organizational skills and the ability to maintain an attitude of professionalism are required.
• Good interpersonal and conflict resolution skills needed.
• Must maintain a high level of confidentiality of information.
• Fluent in Spanish is helpful but not required.
