JOB DESCRIPTION
- FULL TIME
Oral Roberts University (ORU), an NCAA Division I institution and member of the Summit League, is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Assistant Director of Athletic Tickets. This position plays a vital role in the planning, execution, and management of all athletic ticketing operations, contributing to the success of ORU Athletics through exceptional customer service, strategic sales initiatives, and operational efficiency.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the daily operations of the ticket office, including game day ticketing for all home athletic events.
- Provide outstanding customer service and manage ticket sales via phone, online, and in person.
- Support the development and execution of ticket sales campaigns, promotions, and group ticketing initiatives to increase attendance and revenue.
- Maintain and update the ticketing system, including account management, event builds, and reporting.
- Collaborate with marketing, development, and external relations staff on fan engagement strategies and donor relations.
- Assist with season ticket renewals, seat assignments, and donor priority seating.
- Generate and analyze ticketing reports to guide data-driven decisions.
- Ensure compliance with NCAA, Summit League, and ORU policies and procedures.
- Contribute to strategic planning and innovation in the ticketing department.
QUALIFICIATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 1–3 years of experience in ticketing, sales, or a related field in collegiate or professional sports.
- Proficiency in ticketing software (Paciolan, Ticketmaster, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedule.
- Passion for sports and alignment with the mission and values of Oral Roberts University.
PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES:
- Experience in a high-volume ticketing environment.
- Knowledge of donor and priority seating programs.
- Ability to think strategically and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
